Carol Bouldin will be presenting our program on the Early Cattle Business.
The cattle business was the first and foremost industry of Oklahoma and the foundation of its economy.  Carol  relates stories about the early cattle business and the involvement of her own grandfather, early OKC mayor Daniel Vorhees Lackey, in the founding of the Oklahoma City Stockyards.  Besides his role in starting the enterprise, he also helped sell off cattle and livestock of the 101 Ranch when it went into receivership.
